These are some of your best probiotics and digestive enzymes for pets. Make sure if you choose one outside this list that the ingredients (inactive included) are not loaded with junk such as Maltodextrin in which many of these do. Avoid yeast, natural flavorings, canola or vegetable oils, dextrose, sucrose, yeast, lecithin, sorbic acid and silicon dioxide to name a few. To see a bigger list of ingredients to avoid, click here.

Avoid chews and tablets of any kind. Look for powders and/or capsules. Open capsule and empty into foods although a complete capsule won't do harm if your dog does better using capsules.

Pet foods that claim to contain Probiotics/Digestive enzymes in fact do not. They have been cooked beyond recognition. You cannot bake, cook or heat supplements and expect them to retain their potency. Not Possible. Don't be fooled by pet food companies. And no they didn't add them after they were cooked. It all went in together before being cooked.

Also I have seen articles saying human supplements of this form are not the right ingredients for pets. That is not correct. Many human supplements are acceptable and pet and human supplements contain many of the same strains. I in fact trust human supplements more than pet products but..for your own satisfaction, I chose these pet products for you. Do not purchase human supplements unless you know how to read ingredients. If you don't know an ingredient, then do an internet search for each ingredient in it before you consider giving your pets anything. Read several articles on that one ingredient. Trust the source you are reading from.
I see many products on the internet that have 4 and 5 star ratings. Clearly pet owners don't know how to read ingredients or they wouldn't be giving them. Yeast? Maltodextrin? Sugar? There are hundreds/thousands of different brands out there. So this isn't a full list of what might be the best but it's a good list to work from.

If any contain red words, these are not ideal ingredients but product may be acceptable. You select at your own choice. Most of these are safe and clear of junk ingredients. I did the work for you, so choose which one you like best.
If your dogs system is compromised (eats commercial pet food, is ill, has stomach and intestinal issues or has an autoimmune disorder, you can double the dose until pet becomes more stable and with a stronger immune system. Approximately 30-60 days.)

These are not in any particular order. Click main image to go to product.

I am only an everyday person sharing my experiences and knowledge with others. My dogs are all rescues and came with some medical issues. As our dogs age, no matter what we do right, there is always a medical issue that will arise, so being proactive instead of reactive is your best line of defense. You will also have the knowledge to make better decisions and can handle tackling a problem. Learning is our best line of defense.

Facebook is removing thousands, maybe millions of accounts if they don't like anything about them now. I had a page for HOPS on Facebook but I lost it when they deleted my account as well. Over 10,000 followers..gone just like that. We are looking for a permanent social media site. We are on Facebook again but it isn't monitored daily.
Also watch out for a lot of scams going on especially on Facebook, especially so called Drs from Nigeria claiming to help you
or your pets. A Dr named Dr Gbojie natural cure on FB is a scammer. Things are bad right now so just be aware!
