Do you take your dog to a dog park? Are you all about safe fun days?
This is my personal opinion on dog parks so go as you will. First off dog parks are a great place to allow your dog to run OFF LEASH. I get that.
But there are so many reasons not to go to a dog park.

But there are so many reasons not to go to a dog park.
1. Dogs that are sick may spread diseases especially in puppies. Vaccines or no vaccines, your dog can still get sick.
2. Your chances of a dog fight have increased dramatically. Be prepared financially along with possible lawsuits and even the worst, fatalities.
3. There have been reports of bad people throwing out poisonous treats, pieces of cheese with nails or razor blades in them.

4. Chemicals used to kill ticks, fleas and bugs are on the grass or dirt. These toxins absorb into your dog's paws and/or skin and are dangerous (even deadly) to you and your pets. These chemicals do cause cancer.
If you really want to play with other dogs or socialize, call a dog friend up and meet at your house or theirs. Hang out in the backyard and play with the dogs. Install a sandbox for them to play in, an area with artificial turf that they may want to hang out on. How about a small pool for them to play in. A pool of plastic balls to roll around in. Make a doggie playground. You can do so much without visiting a public place where lots of things can and have gone wrong as well as reducing exposure to toxins.

Dog parks are dangerous. I do NOT recommend them.
